A Tini Slice of Heaven.

Standard

Endless sunny days leave nothing but time to pack all the things we love into a single weekend.

Tacos, Yoga, Cars, Running, Beach Volleyball, cocktail-ing while cheering for the Kings {and the Heat} and roaming through some of our favorite LA haunts with a cup of coffee.

The Mr. and I have a passion for all things vintage, mid-century modern, industrial and re-styled.  Saturday after visiting the first of our Wedding venue options, we headed over to one of our favorite flea-market inspired spots, for a bit of inspiration and discovery.   tini. aka This Is Not Ikea, is a hodgepodge of vintage finds that began with a craigslist seller and has morphed into both an online retailer and storefront presence in the Fairfax district of Los Angeles.

tini is packed floor to ceiling with treasures great and small

and while we did not purchase anything this weekend, we walked away with new and quirky ways to continue to express our style within our place including brightly colored lamps, marquee lettering, mannequin jewelry displays and a new Halloween costume idea or two.

for the vintage lover seeking the best of craigslist or one just looking for a little whimsy or inspiration, I’d argue that heading over to tini – online or in-store may just be a tini slice of heaven.
